Sent to the South of France in November 1942 Gunner and Nickerson are on a mission to extract Nickerson's uncle whose capture would be a propaganda disaster. It soon becomes clear that Nickerson has another agenda, one that includes the assassination of a senior Nazi Officer. An assassination it falls to Gunner to carry out.
After being captured and escaping they are on their way home when a comm comes from High Command. They must locate a French Nobel Prize winning prisoner who is an expert in Hydrogen Fusion. Unfortunately, the Nazis want him too. The race is on to find him first and get out of the south of France alive.
