Space Opera Par Excellence

Lieta’s Revenge is the sequel to the award winning novel Talos Rising in the Last Navigator series. Talos Rising is an amazing debut novel, easily the best science fiction story I’ve read to date … until now. Picking up where the first book ended, Lieta’s Revenge is a riveting tale featuring many memorable characters, ranging from a teenage girl who finds herself in the middle of events far bigger than herself to an alien entity called Gorm to battle-hardened veteran Mark Hauser to Finn, a gladiator in training, plus many more, including a cool spider cat called Loke (yes, the god of mischief). Basically, we alternate between two storylines, one on the remote planet Etai Kalan and one back on Earth, but a very different Earth from the planet we inhabit today. I really don’t want to say more than this for fear of spoling the fun, except you will not regret picking up this fantastic science fiction series. It’s space opera at its very best.
