Astrid is not having an easy time. Her mother is bedridden in the attic due to a creeping illness, and her father has taken a job as a night guard at Ghostbnb, a company that rents out haunted houses to tourists. On top of that, they have just moved to the rainy city of Bergen, where Astrid does not know a single soul.

Then she meets Ine, and life begins to smile again. At the same time, something feels off. Around the two friends, increasingly strange things start to happen. And as the rain pours down, they discover how quickly everything that feels safe and harmless can suddenly turn into its opposite.
