Here was a man who earned his place in history, catapulted to prominence with only the essentials of his fiber – hate, resentment, vengeance – unmistakable in most works written about him. Was he mad? World War II was one of history’s most well documented dramas that left heart-wrenching carnage in pictures that resounded in the farthest recesses of the earth. On the other hand; many neo-Nazis still regard Hitler as a strategic genius, a great military leader, one of Germany’s foremost sons. Was he truly great or who would have been great and at what point became delusional that made him do what he did. This article shall attempt to capture the man during the milestones in history as he was shaped by them, and ultimately shaped them himself. One has to go back and investigate the times and the events that formed the figure, unschooled and obscure, bitter and cold, who rose out of the ashes of the First World War to become the tyrant who started World War II.
