A study in C.S.Lewis as a critic ebok

The book is an effort to give a metacritical evaluation of C.S.Lewis’ way of writing about literature that is not his own. C.S.Lewis was professor in Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge University. Our choice among Lewis’ metacritical writing is from within these historic periods. But the thesis also gives some understanding of C.S.Lewis view of English Literature from other historic periods. He likes old literature and he has quite strong opinions about modern literature. C.S.Lewis never sought to be “original”, but also the manuscripts that we are dealing with here, belong among the most original contributions to metacritical writing.
